In 2000 Glyn Griffis opened his wealth management practice after a 13-year career as a commercial lender/private banker with SunTrust Bank and Bank of America. Financial planning has provided Glyn the opportunity to assist clients and their families throughout their lives. His goal is to help his clients enjoy financial independence, fund their children's educations, and create the lifestyle they wished for in retirement.

Glyn is a Certified Financial Planner professional with a comprehensive financial planning practice that specializes in the areas of investments. These areas include qualified retirement plans, individual retirement planning, insurance and estate planning. Glyn uses his experience and systematic approach to assist clients in establishing their financial goals, analyzing their financial situation, and recommending a realistic financial plan. He also helps monitor performance and provides updates on a scheduled basis to ensure that clients stay financially on course.

Glyn attended the University of Florida, where he would receive his bachelor's degree in finance. His commitment to education continued with the completion of the CFP® Certification Professional Education Program at the University of Central Florida in 2000 and by earning his certification as a Certified Financial Planner professional the same year.

A longtime resident of Central Florida, he is a dedicated advocate to his community. Glyn has been a contributor to the Ask an Expert and Money Matters Hotline columns in the Money section of the Orlando Sentinel for the past 11 years. He has served on various distribution panels within the United Way, and as president and assistant district governor in the Rotary Club of Windermere.
