J. Didier Dalton,

CRPC®, CIMA® Vice President, Investments

Our team’s goal is simple: to help clients make their wealth work more efficiently for them—be it refining their investment portfolios, passing along wealth in a tax-sensitive manner, optimizing their business cash management, financing, or any other financial matter. However, accomplishing this takes a specialized team dedicated to continual learning. In addition to the expertise within the Stoneman Dalton Group, the team members leverage the capabilities that come with Raymond James’ nearly $1.5 trillion in client balances.

For his part, Didier combines quantitative rigor, with a broad understanding of financial planning, to keep client portfolios aligned with goals and ahead of ever-changing market trends. To help in this pursuit, he holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ designation and attended the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business to complete the Certified Investment Management Analyst® program. In addition, Didier has a degree in economics with high honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to the Stoneman Dalton Group joining Raymond James in 2021, Didier was an advisor at Merrill Lynch for over 10 years.

Didier is an Asheville native who enjoys staying active in his community through Asheville City Schools. He and his wife, Katie, have two children.
