John Firek is a Financial Advisor with Raymond James & Associates based in Auburn Hills, MI. John takes great pride in building long-term, meaningful relationships with clients and believes the key to financial success starts with having a detailed financial plan. His client relationships are centered on a foundation of trust, communication, and excellent financial advice. John focuses on providing comprehensive wealth management strategies for the families he serves and adheres to a goals-based process, providing confidence and a clear direction for his clients as they approach retirement.

In addition to working with families and their financial planning needs, John serves local municipalities in developing appropriate Investment Policy Statements for their pension plans and retiree healthcare accounts, asset allocations, and investment manager search and selection decisions.

John holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist℠ designation from the College for Financial Planning, as well as his Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses. He is a graduate of Hope College in Holland, MI and has a bachelor's degree in business management.

Outside of the office, John is an avid angler and enjoys spending his leisure time with his family on the Leelanau Peninsula. John is a Metro Detroit native and currently resides in Royal Oak with his wife,Kelsey, and their daughter, Meritt.
