Robert W. Phinney Jr. Managing Director

Prior to founding Axiom Capital Wealth Management, Bob was a co-founder of Boston Capital Wealth Management. As a seasoned advisory professional, Bob provides customized and integrated asset management strategies for entrepreneurs, business owners, individuals and families. Since joining the financial services industry in 1993, Bob has developed a particular and differentiating experience in creating and implementing asset allocation models, which seek to preserve wealth and mitigate risk during excessively volatile and unstable global markets.

Through rigorous and disciplined financial forensics – including exhaustive information gathering – Bob pays notable attention to the importance of preparation, client communication, and the acquisition of a meaningful understanding of each client's specific and very personal objectives for their wealth. His work includes pre-liquidity trust and estate planning, tax mitigation, investment policy management and the engagement of sophisticated hedging and monetization structures for concentrated equity positions. Bob and his team diligently strive to instill confidence, awareness and trust in every client relationship.

Prior to joining Raymond James, Bob was a senior vice president and wealth advisor at Morgan Stanley for approximately 14 years. He earned a bachelor's degree from St. Lawrence University and graduated with academic distinction from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts, where he was inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame in 2014.
