David Anthony,

David's interest in the financial industry extends even beyond his 35-year career, as he grew up in a family of bankers. He cares about his clients and finds great satisfaction in seeing them further their financial well-being and independence. The areas of expertise he has include the vital areas of investment management, retirement planning and estate planning.

He began his professional career in 1981 as a staff accountant for Coopers & Lybrand and became a financial advisor in 1984, first at Legg Mason and then A.G. Edwards. In 2007, he became a financial advisor at Morgan Keegan, which was acquired by Raymond James in 2012.

David earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Auburn University. He is a member of Cathedral Church of The Advent, the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham and the Monday Morning Quarterback Club supporting children's medical needs through the Crippled Children's Clinic.

Originally from Andalusia, Alabama, he now lives in Mountain Brook with his wife, Angela. They have three sons, David, Harris, and Wilkerson. In his free time, he enjoys golf and exercise.
