Brad Parsons,

CFP®, RICP® Senior Vice President, Investments

Brad has always had a passion for investing and financial planning. It is part of his entrepreneurial spirit.

“When I first realized I could build a business by helping others with their investments and financial planning, that’s when I decided to launch into building my own financial advisory business.”

Brad specializes in retirement planning and cash flow-based investment strategies. His financial advisory career began in Charlotte, North Carolina, as a financial advisor with Smith Barney in July 1997. In February 2008, he joined Merrill Lynch and advanced to senior financial advisor and first vice president in wealth management until February 2017, when he joined Raymond James.

“What attracted me to Raymond James was the Financial Advisor Bill of Rights. In the document, it states that as the financial advisor you are free to work with your clients, without regard to account size or asset levels. This mentality runs parallel to my way of thinking of letting the entrepreneur decide who they want to work with while always keeping the client’s best interest as the top priority.”

Brad began his collegiate career at Vanderbilt University but graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.

Originally from Avon, Connecticut, Brad lives in South Charlotte with his wife, Elissa. They have one son, Ryan.

When he is away from the office, Brad enjoys playing golf, exercising and coaching youth basketball in The Inter Faith Basketball League. He and Elissa attend Forest Hills Church.
