Raymond James welcomes Virginia financial advisor managing $174 million in assets

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Raymond James recently welcomed financial advisor Anothip “Thip” Zimmerman to Raymond James & Associates (RJA) – the firm’s employee advisor channel in Vienna, Virginia – according to Kelly Anderson, Northeast regional director for RJA.

Zimmerman joins Raymond James from Wells Fargo Clearing Services, where she previously managed $174 million in client assets. Operating as Thip Zimmerman Wealth Advisory of Raymond James, she will align with RJA’s Chesapeake Complex, led by complex manager Warren Wright, serving a unique client base that includes a mix of business owners, executives, retirees, families and individuals.

A native of Northern Virginia, Zimmerman brings over 27 years of financial services experience to her role as senior vice president, wealth management. She began her career in 1994 at Prudential Securities, working across several notable groups until 1999, when she joined First Union, which later became Wachovia then Wells Fargo. Zimmerman holds a business degree from Longwood University.
