George Debnam, Jr. graduated from Porter Gaud, attended Oxford College of Emory University and graduated from The College of Charleston. George immediately joined the law firm Haynsworth, Marion, McKay and Guerard.*

George left the law firm after several informative years to join his father in a partnership in financial services at Citigroup Smith Barney. At that firm, the two maintained and grew their business for seven years. George completed coursework and examinations through the College for Financial Planning for the designation of AWMA^® (Accredited Wealth Management Advisor^®).

George, Jr. has been active with the Trident United Way. Currently, he is a member of the Carolina Yacht Club and the Hibernian Society of Charleston. George enjoys spending time with his three sons: Gus, John, and Finley.

George, Sr. and George, Jr. had formed their partnership at Smith Barney but following some firm changing decisions they decided to join the firm that is now Raymond James in March 2009. There they continued as employees until the summer of 2021. They are now independent agents with RH Financial Services, serving their clients through Raymond James Financial Services.
