A passion to connect through music & outdoor adventures

Born and raised in Washington state, Lisa’s earliest adventures were in the Cascade mountains, islands & inlets of Puget Sound, and eastern Washington high plateau where she took up her family legacy of plant identification, wildcrafting, rock hounding, camping, fixing up & preserving old homes and exploring roads less traveled.

She earned her way to summer camps at Illahee and Sealth selling Campfire Girl mints & cookies. The camp counselors played guitars and campers’ songs graced each meal, hiking trail and evening campfire. Singing the harmony parts came as naturally for Lisa as learning the guitar - which she did after school playing along with Simon & Garfunkel and John Denver records.

Though her roads less traveled and musical genres have branched out, Lisa credits these early experiences for her life-long passion for connecting with people through music and outdoor adventures

“If your mind is expansive and unfettered, you will find yourself in a more accommodating world, a place that’s endlessly interesting and alive. That quality isn’t inherent in the place but in your state of mind.”
