Colton Lightner,
CFP®, AIF® Financial PlannerColton Lightner, Financial Advisor, RJFSA, is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional who has been providing investment and planning guidance to families, individuals, and business owners since returning to his hometown in 2018. He also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® certification.
Colton earned a bachelor's degree in business administration, with majors in Finance and Economics, at Stetson University. He was a member of the Stetson baseball team, where he served as team captain and received the “Leader of Distinction” award. Growing up locally, Colton graduated from Pine View School, while playing baseball for the nationally ranked Venice Indians.
Colton now lives in Venice with his wife, Brittany, who practices Physical Therapy locally. They love to enjoy the natural beauty of the community and spend time with their families. Colton stays involved in the baseball community by providing instruction to local youth. He is also a volunteer board member of The Road to Independence Foundation, which was founded by Brittany’s late grandmother, Nancy Detert, to assist local youth children with their transition from Foster care to the real world.
