With more than 35 years of securities industry experience, Terry provides investment management counsel to high-net-worth individuals, retirement plans, corporations and endowments. His specialized expertise includes developing comprehensive financial plans, writing and implementing investment policy, allocating strategic assets, selecting security and money managers, and measuring and reporting portfolio performance. His friendly, client-centered manner helps put clients at ease and earns their trust. In 2013, Terry was recognized as a Five-Star Wealth Manager by Memphis Magazine*.

Prior to joining Morgan Keegan, now Raymond James, in 1987, Terry enjoyed a 15-year career with AT&T in national account management of Federal Express and Humana, ending in management of a 35-person sales force over a three-state area. Terry attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, pursued graduate studies at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky and earned a B.A. in psychology at the University of Memphis.

Terry stays active in the Memphis community through his involvement with the downtown Kiwanis Club of Memphis, for which he is a past president, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Sales and Marketing Executives of Birmingham. He is a long-standing member of Emmanuel Methodist Church and past president of its men’s club. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, racquetball and skiing. Terry and his wife, Mary Claire, have three children: Jack, Christie and Molly.
