David M. Huffman,

Dave Huffman has a 20+year history in the Wealth Management industry. Dave began as a Financial Advisor in Jacksonville, Florida building his practice. Early on, Dave was recognized for his leadership capabilities and as a result was asked to serve in a dual role of Manager and producing Financial Advisor at other firms, including Smith Barney and Morgan Stanley. Since joining Raymond James in 2013, he has performed several roles including: Senior Leadership, Risk Management, and Business Development of the Northeast Florida Complex in addition to being a Portfolio Manager for the Boggs-Huffman Wealth Management Group. In July 2022, Dave decided to focus his energies exclusively on clients and their goals and objectives. This change of role allows Dave to spend all his efforts working directly with clients and their families by formulating investment strategy, creating financial plans and ultimately, portfolio management.

As a partner of Boggs-Huffman, Dave works in concert with Aimee once the client’s financial plan is adopted, to construct a customized portfolio tailored to help achieve the client’s goals and objectives. He then monitors portfolios to help ensure the investments are consistent with any changes to a client’s financial plan. All of this is done with an on-going sensitivity to the client’s tax-situation and helping to minimize tax implications of portfolio management.

Dave is active in the community and has served on several boards including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the Ponte Vedra Senior Center.

Prior to his career in the Financial Services Industry, Dave was a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association for 15 years. He began his golfing career as a Touring Professional but later spent most of his time as a Teaching Professional. He worked with tour players as well as those new to the game. His passion became working with junior golfers. Additionally, he was a high school and college coach as well as the Director of Golf at Rozella Ford Golf Club.

Dave graduated from Ferris State University in Michigan with Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance, Marketing and Professional Golf Management. Originally from Warsaw, Indiana, Dave currently lives in Atlantic Beach with his son and daughter.
