Carter wants to help his clients invest well so they can live the life they want to and have the opportunity to give back.

Raised in Clemson, Carter graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Control Systems Engineering. Prior to joining Raymond James, he served his country as a Submarine Officer onboard the USS Norfolk, a fast attack submarine that was stationed in Norfolk, VA. He also worked for the Tennessee Valley Authority as a Control Room Supervisor and Shift Technical Advisor at Watts Bar Nuclear Power Plant.

He is married to Jenny and has two children, Maeve and Ford. Carter is a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and currently serves on his church's Missions Committee and is the Event Director for the Race for Adoption 5k here in the Upstate.
