He was born in Indiana and developed an interest in investments in eighth grade, when he purchased his first stock. His upbringing emphasized living by the Golden Rule and putting service to others first – values that have carried over into his work as a financial advisor. He delivers a high level of service and sound advice with integrity, honesty and hard work. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.
He believes in community service and “paying it forward,” which has prompted him to serve on various boards and take on charitable endeavors. He has also assisted many organizations in establishing and maintaining foundations and endowments to further their worthwhile missions.
He lives in Greenville with his wife, Alice; they have three daughters: Amy Wright, Paula Cathey and Roxanne Walls. He also has five grandchildren. When Chris is away from the office, he enjoys playing golf, swimming and other outdoor activities.
