Joe is a middle Tennessee native and a graduate of The University of Tennessee. Out of college he began his career at Commerce Union Bank in Nashville in 1977. Throughout his work in Marketing Research, to Advertising/Public Relations and then on to manager of the Retail Branch of the Belle Meade office, Joe recognized the opportunity and need for a warm and personal financial advisory service for high value clients.  After earning a graduate degree in Retail Bank Management from The University of Virginia, Joe saw JC Bradford & Co., headquartered in Nashville, as a perfect place to pursue his investment career.  Joe’s vision throughout his 35+ years in the industry has been to create an advisory versus transactional investment approach to help clients achieve their financial goals.  It’s that same personal, engaging, contemporary and objective driven philosophy that has guided the Rowland Bradford Group since 2001. We consider all of our clients as friends in addition to very valued and appreciated relationships; within a company that shares that same client-first philosophy. Through the merger of JC Bradford, PaineWebber & UBS, The Rowland Bradford Group joined Raymond James in 2007.
