I come from a long line of financial industry business professionals. My decision to become a Financial Advisor was influenced by my father who was a graduate of the first College of Financial Planning (CFP) class of 1972. As I guide people to plan for their later years in life, I like to think that I am continuing a family legacy of helping others.

For the past 36 years, I have honed my commitment to clients by always doing what is best for my clients. Some of my first clients still work with me and continue to refer their friends and family. I am very proud of this accolade.

As an advisor, I enjoy helping clients, such as you, with financial planning—whether it is the formulation of a retirement plan, guidance through an employment transition, help with maximizing Social Security benefits, or reducing your tax liability.

I am proud to be recognized for my commitment to my craft, most recently by the College for Financial Planning for 30-plus years as a CFP® practitioner. I am also a FINRA arbitrator and am held to a higher standard when it comes to doing what is right for my clients.

I recognize that everyone and every situation is different. When meeting with you, I will carefully assess your current portfolio, rebalance it using active and passive strategies, and then design a plan to integrate growth potential, risk management and flexibility—while keeping costs to a minimum.

Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with family. I am a longtime volunteer for the Senior Center of San Diego, where I work with homeless seniors. I love classic cars, tennis, and golf, but I am passionate about cooking. I have a large family with five grandkids and cooking with them is one of my favorite things.

If you would like to know more about retirement strategies, stocks, or general financial planning, give me a call or email. I look forward to speaking with you.

The Forbes Best-In-State Wealth Advisors 2024 ranking, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. This ranking is based upon the period from 6/30/2022 to 6/30/2023 and was released on 4/3/2024. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weighs factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients. Portfolio performance is not a criteria due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Out of approximately 42,108 nominations, roughly 8,500 advisors received the award. This ranking is not indicative of an advisor’s future performance, is not an endorsement, and may not be representative of individual clients’ experience.
