Chip Ibach

CFP®
Vice President / Branch Manager
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Investment Management Consultant

Charles R. "Chip" Ibach, IV graduated from North Carolina State University in 1993, with a degree in Business Management. He stayed busy too, working as a manager at a popular restaurant in Raleigh. Chip's admirable work ethic has followed him every step of the way in his professional career.

After college, Chip employed his analytical skills by implementing an internationally- recognized quality control system at a southwestern Virginia textile mill. This achievement was an important, valuable step for a company whose entire industry continues to face increased international competition.

In 1999, Chip joined Allen Wealth Advisors, where he immediately added to the depth of the personal services we deliver to our clients. Today, he knows every client by name, their holdings and, most importantly, their hopes and dreams.

Throughout the year Chip works, along with our entire firm, to minimize the tax impact of investment and financial planning decisions. That often proves a real challenge in the current market environment. Chip earned the coveted CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional designation in 2003. He has an active role in ongoing financial reviews, as well as maintaining your proper asset allocation, through dynamic portfolio rebalancing to reflect changing market trends and opportunities. In 2006, after earning further certification requirements, Chip was named Branch Manager for Allen Wealth Advisors.

Chip and Alecia have been married since 1997, and have three beautiful daughters & one handsome son (Madison, Reagan, Camryn & Chase). The older girls are avid horseback riders, and Camryn will soon follow. The family also enjoys spending time in our state's beautiful mountains.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
