Don is a 34 year Wall Street veteran having spent his entire career in Atlanta. His background includes a multiplicity of roles ranging from Managing Director and Southeast region management, financial advisory, wealth planning and portfolio management. Over the years, Don has developed an expertise in risk-adjusted portfolio management and his investment style can best be described as a Research-Driven Global Macro approach.

Don primarily works with high net-worth individuals, executives of public companies, and family offices. Given his strong derivatives background, Don is active in the use of customized monetization strategies around restricted stock positions. Career highlights include the largest collar on a restricted stock position at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown.

Don started his career at Kidder Peabody Wealth Management where he became the youngest Vice President in the Southeast. Next, Don worked as a Managing Director for 18 years at Deutsche Bank Alex Brown. The first eight years he worked directly with clients before being promoted into regional management where he had oversight responsibility over investment banking, equity research, and wealth management.

Don enjoys spending time with his three children whose ages range from 26, 23 and 12. He is active in karate with his youngest child and is a CrossFit enthusiast. Don is also a competitive tennis player having attained city champion level in singles and doubles. Don is an active member of North Point Church where he is a small group leader in Northpoint’s middle school program, Transit. Don is also active with Trinity House Ministries which is a Christ centered 12 step program designed to help men win their life back. Don earned a BA in Economics from Ursinus College and attended Temple University’s MBA program, but cheers for Auburn football where his eldest children attend.
