Chris Chaffin, managing partner at Chaffin Capital Advisors, has been serving the financial needs of high-net-worth professionals, business owners, retirees and their families for over a decade. He strives to develop long-term, lasting relationships with his clients. Chris’s primary goal is to counsel his clients on successful wealth management techniques, while providing exceptional client service with integrity that is well beyond reproach.

Originally from Polk County, Florida, Chris graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. Chris earned the prestigious CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM certification from the College for Financial Planning, he has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary AIF® which focuses of fiduciary standards of care for investment clients. Chris also holds the Series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as a Florida Life, Health and Variable Annuity License. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2019, Chris worked for SunTrust Investment Services and SunTrust Advisory Services for 10 years. Before starting a career in investment management, Chris worked with Boeing as an engineer/scientist, assisting NASA in assembling the International Space Station. Chris also worked as an engineer with Kimley-Horn and Associates in Lakeland. 

Outside of work, Chris enjoys volunteering with local organizations and spending time with family and friends. Chris lives in Lakeland with his wife, Maggie, and their two children, Reagan and Nolan. Chris and his family attend Highland Park Church and enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors.
