Derrick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Husband, and Father. With 20 years of education and experience within the financial service industry he designs and executes financial plans for Gen X Execs, Soon-to-Be Retirees and individuals/families looking for a more meaningful relationship with their financial advisor.

Derrick has the pleasure of working with Individuals and families with diverse back grounds, life experiences, goals and financial needs and has come to realize that success is not absolute, can be defined and measured in many ways, and is unique to the individual(s) specific set of circumstances.

Derrick is engaged in the community and with service. He is an active board member of the Motor City Squash and Education Foundation (MCSEF) and Co-Chair of the Motor City Open since 2012. The focus of the MCSEF is to raise funds for local charities including RacquetUp a Squash Education Alliance organization that provides education, mentorship and squash activities to inner city youth. Over the past 8 years and under his leadership the MCSEF has raised over $150,000 toward this effort. Derrick lives in Bloomfield Village with his wife Dana and his two Daughters Kate and Ruby. He also enjoys cooking, racquet sports, skiing and playing guitar.

In addition to be being a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional Derrick has attained his Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 and is a registered representative and investment advisor representative with Raymond James Financial Services, Inc.
