Peter Alberding,

As a co-founder of Generational Wealth Partners, Peter has over 30 years of experience helping individuals, business owners, senior executives and affluent families successfully manage their wealth and navigate complex financial decisions. Peter joined Raymond James in March 2014 after 17 years at UBS, where he held a number of management positions including: as Executive Director of Client Development in Switzerland, as Chief Operating Officer of UBS Wealth Management’s Western Division, and as Complex Director of the Boston Office.

Peter earned the Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CWPA) designation from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and is a graduate of Wesleyan University. Peter also holds a certificate in German from the Goethe Institute and is fluent in German.

In 2018, Peter joined the Board of Directors of Silver Lining Mentoring (“SLM”), the only mentoring organization in Massachusetts that exclusively serves youth in foster care through committed mentoring relationships and the development of essential life skills. Peter has served as Treasurer of the SLM Board since 2022. He and his wife, Lynn, have twice co-chaired SLM’s annual gala and succeeded in raising more than $1million for the organization.

Peter and Lynn live in Needham, MA, where they raised their children. In addition to their commitment to the work of SLM, they have been longtime supporters of the Wesleyan’s men’s basketball program and the Needham Community Council as well as numerous local organizations serving youth. Peter has a life-long love of music and is an enthusiastic blues guitar player who performs regularly with his band.
