Professional Experience and Education

Ryan became sole owner and President of The Granville Investment Group in 2018 after serving as an associate Financial Advisor since 2012. Prior to entering the wealth management industry, Ryan worked in the banking industry for nearly a decade. A natural leader and teacher, Ryan especially enjoys meeting with clients to understand their goals, then designing and implementing financial plans and investment strategies to help reach them. He works closely with families, small businesses, nonprofits and qualified retirement plans.

Recognized as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^TM professional, you can be sure that Ryan provides professional financial planning services. To earn the CFP designation, he had to complete an approved educational program, pass a rigorous examination and meet stringent experience requirements. Ryan also adheres to a professional Code of Ethics and he fulfills annual continuing education requirements to remain aware of current planning strategies and financial trends.

Ryan possesses the CRPS® (Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist) credential awarded by the College for Financial Planning. As such, he is qualified to help businesses create, implement and maintain retirement plans while acting in a fiduciary capacity.

Ryan holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Ohio Dominican University along with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics/Economics from Denison University where he was an all-conference soccer player and captain for the men’s varsity team.

Personal Information

An engaged community member, Ryan serves on the Governing and Finance & Investment Committees for the Licking County Foundation. He is past chair of the board of directors for Hospice of Central Ohio. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of Granville and volunteers in many capacities for his alma mater, Denison University.

Ryan’s hobbies include golfing, skiing, hiking and camping. An avid traveler, he has made numerous trips to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, to explore the Tetons.

Ryan and his wife, Tammy, live in Granville with their daughters, Brielle and Abigail Rose, and son, Isaiah. They are active members of Spring Hills Baptist Church.
