Brian Grefe was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. After graduating from Drake University in 2003, he left Des Moines to begin his career in Chicago in the Trust Department at Northern Trust. Brian returned to Des Moines and joined Roger Grefe and Grefe Capital Management in 2005. In October 2007, Roger and Brian moved their practice to Raymond James & Associates.

Brian and his wife Leslie have one daughter named Alivia and they also have a dog named Biggie. Together they live in Clive, Iowa.

Outside of work, Brian enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling.
