Jim is a 20 year veteran of the financial services industry. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BBA in Finance and he also holds the Series 7, 65, and 63 licenses, as well as a Life and Health Insurance license.

In 2014 Jim became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER^™ professional after an intense study program. This qualifies him to help clients navigate their way through the complex world of finance. As a CFP^® certificant he is held to a high client-first standard which helps ensure he keeps his clients' needs ahead of his own.

Jim is a strong believer in giving back to his community. He is the former Board President and board member of Child Enrichment, Inc. in Augusta, GA and he is also the former Board President of Easter Seals of East Georgia.

Jim is a life long resident of Augusta, where he currently resides with his wife Diane and three children.
