Joshua S. Halpern has been serving the financial needs of professionals, business owners and their families for more than 20 years. He strives to develop long-term relationships with clients in order to fully understand their financial situations and provide appropriate solutions to any wealth management issues they may encounter.

After a comprehensive assessment and complete understanding of each client’s investment goals and tolerance for risk, Josh works closely with them to develop a customized financial plan designed to help them meet their long-term goals. The plan is periodically reviewed and, if necessary, updated to be sure that it remains on track.

Josh graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with his study concentration in Industrial & Organizational (I/O) Psychology. To further his financial planning education, Josh earned the following professional designations:

• Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor^SM (CRPC^®)

Josh is a Registered Principal of Raymond James Financial Services Inc., an Investment Advisor Representative, and retains Series 24, 63, 65 registrations.

Community involvement has always been important in Josh’s life. He serves, or has served, as a volunteer with the Rotary Club of Rockville (Past-President) and Rotary International (Paul Harris Fellow), National Capital Area Financial Planning Association (Mentorship Chair, Professional Development Chair, and Government Relations Chair), The Rockville Recreation Foundation, Montgomery Country Crime Solvers Inc, Lime Light Theater, the Planned Giving Committee of the Montgomery College Foundation, and the Financial Service Institute’s Financial Advisor Council.

Josh enjoys golf, scuba diving, cooking, reading non-fiction (in preparation for his goal of appearing on Jeopardy!), and spending time with family.  He resides with his wife and son in Olney MD.
