Daniel knows that navigating the intricacies of investing is a full-time job. For the average investor, managing their own complex financial situation on top of having a career can be a daunting and time-consuming task. It’s why Daniel is so dedicated to being a trusted advisor for individuals and their families – so they can spend their time instead doing what they enjoy most with the people they love.

Daniel spearheads our investment committee and our objective to design and maintain quality risk-adjusted investment strategies for our clients in the face of an ever-changing macroeconomic landscape.

He holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and successfully passed the Security Industry Essentials (SIE) exam. As an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™, he has completed a course of study with the College for Financial Planning® that encompassed investments, insurance, tax, retirement and estate planning issues.

Daniel joined Raymond James in 2022, excited to join a firm that has been at the pinnacle of supporting financial advisors in serving their clients for decades. “Their commitment to quality, transparency and service is notable, and it was an easy decision to join such a well-respected firm,” Daniel says.

Previously in his career, Daniel worked as a private equity associate at Copley Equity Partners, the direct private equity arm of a large single-family office with $4 billion of assets under management. He was responsible for the origination and evaluation of investment opportunities in the lower-middle market. His focus spanned several industries and investment styles, including growth equity and liquidity investments.

He is a graduate of the University of Denver, where he earned a Master of Science in applied quantitative finance and a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with a double major in finance and international business.

Outside of the office, Daniel has parlayed his love of lacrosse into helping others. He coaches junior lacrosse for the San Diego Seals youth program and works with Denver City Lax, a nonprofit dedicated to creating educational and enrichment opportunities for youth in underserved Denver neighborhoods through the sport.

Daniel grew up in Upper Arlington, Ohio, and today lives in San Diego, California. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golfing, fly fishing and traveling the world with his wonderful girlfriend, Cheyenne.”
