With more than four decades of industry experience, Ron has the accumulated knowledge to help clients navigate a variety of market environments. He specializes in serving high-net-worth clients who desire full financial planning and individualized investment strategies, offering a straightforward yet personable approach. He believes firmly in putting clients’ interests first and builds strong relationships with them for the long term.

In 2021, Ron and his team established May Wealth Advisors, an independent family practice. He was drawn to Raymond James Financial Services by the firm’s client-first values and its independent platform. Before that, he built a 43-year career at Wells Fargo and its successor firms, including many years as a branch manager at A. G. Edwards & Sons.

Always striving to gain more financial knowledge, Ron has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. His educational background also includes a bachelor’s degree in history and political science and a master’s degree in higher education administration from the University of Florida.

Giving back to the community is a priority for Ron. Since 1980, he has been involved with the Rotary clubs in Holiday and New Port Richey, serving as vice president and treasurer. He is currently the chairman of Pasco Hernando State College foundation, finance chairman of First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs, and a member of Florida Blue Key and the Centurion Council University of Florida Alumni Club.

Originally from Cumberland, Maryland, he has lived in Tarpon Springs, Florida, since 1991. He is married to Vicki, and they have three adult children: Ashley, Greyson and Taylor. In his free time, Ron enjoys golfing, traveling and reading.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
