Steve McGavran has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. After graduating Pittsburg State University in 1993, with a degree in Accounting, Steve set out on a career in the financial services industry. After spending 2 year work with his father (Earl), Steve moved to Chicago, IL in 1995. Steve went to work in the financial services industry with a major investment firm as a product wholesaler. Steve was promoted to a Regional Vice President in 1997 and moved to St Louis, MO. Steve in 1999 was able to move back to his wife’s hometown of Kansas City. Steve was a Regional Vice President for major national investment firms, from 1995 to 2013. As a Regional Vice President, Steve was responsible for sales of investment products and training of investment professional in the states of Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma and Kansas.

This job as a Regional Vice President of major national investment firms allowed Steve to become extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of financial services and allowed him to travel a great deal. After spending 18 years “on the road’ Steve decided to join his father (Earl) and brother (Mike) in the family business. Steve is knowledgeable in all aspects of the financial services, but his true passion is helping people understand and feel comfortable with their investments and savings. Steve is married to Amy (Mealman) a graduate of Pittsburg State University with degrees of a BBA Finance 1995 and a Masters in Human Resources 1994. They have two boys, Jack (2000) and Max (2002). In Steve’s spare time he is actively involved in his kids’ sports.
