With more than 8 years of experience in the financial industry, Ron Beckner advises clients on a broad range of financial strategies and wealth protection. As a financial advisor, Ron has completed several comprehensive training programs that include all required licensing examinations. His investment strategies as an advisor focuses on the dynamics of the client. He listens to each client’s concerns and believes a personalized wealth strategy is how to understand and grow a solid financial foundation. Ron blends integrity, hard work and a willingness to help each client like they are the only client in the world. Ron uses a hands-on approach meeting clients on a regular basis to ensure their investments remain suitable for their objectives throughout their lifetime and the ever-changing market.

Because of his working class back-ground, he offers a wide range of investment alternatives and services. Ron is committed to helping with 401(k) education, retirement planning opportunities, and alternatives that are tailored to the needs of the individual investor. These alternatives include IRA options that can include stocks, bonds, mutual funds, annuities and insurance strategies. Whether you need assistance implementing a small business retirement plan, protecting family income or just need financial jargon explained, Ron will put you-and your needs-first.

Experience/Education:

Before joining Raymond James as a Financial Advisor Ron retired from the United States Naval Reserves with 24 years of service in 2007. He, at the same time worked in the pipe trades for 20 years as a Union pipe fitter/welder. He was hired by the Department of the Navy in Hawaii as a pipefitter/welder and graduated college with a Bachelor of Science in Business from University of Phoenix. Ron was then hired by Edward Jones where he worked for 6 years as a financial advisor, volunteering to help the firm grow by acting as a recruiting team member, level new and level 1 leader which set him apart to achieve limited partnership with the firm in less than 6 years. He then conducted extensive research on tax-free wealth building as an insurance agent. He recently was given an opportunity to contract with Raymond James as an independent financial advisor and owns Peaks Integrity Financial Services.

He has passed the following industry exams:
*Securities Industry Essentials Examination (SIE) obtained 10/01/2018, *General Securities Representative Examination (Series 7) obtained 02/02/2013 and * Uniform Combined State Law Examination (Series 66) obtained 03/27/2013.

*Ron has extensive Continuing Education requirements that include:
Code of Ethics & Insider Trading; Social Security Past, Present and Future; Creating Lifetime income with Annuities; 4-hour Annuity Training; Insurance and Estate Planning; Long Term Care 5-hour training; 4 hours Ethics; 6 hours Life and Health.

Community Involvement:

*Ron has been involved with the “Westcliffe Stampede Rodeo” and the “Wet Mountain Valley Saddle Club” (WMVSC) for more than 8 years. He served on the Board of Directors and 2 years ago helped organize a committee to bring the “Pro Rodeo Cowboy Association” (PRCA) to the club and Community. The 75th annual 2021 Westcliffe Stampede PRCA and WPRA Rodeo was a record shattering year for the WMVSC and the entire community. He is a past member of the Florence CO chamber of commerce, the Pueblo CO Greater Chamber, the Latino Chamber of commerce, and the Custer County chamber of commerce in Westcliffe CO where he helped start the “Find it in Custer County” website.

He is also a supporter of the local theatre “Westcliffe Center for Performing Arts” (WCPA) where he has performed in several stage performances as local talent.

Family/hobbies:

Ron is originally from the Denver CO area, and resides in Westcliffe Colorado at the base of the picturesque Sangre De Cristo mountains. He enjoys his business with his wife Barb and his home where they have 4 horses, 3 dogs, 3 cats, 26 chickens and his wife’s mother, father, uncle and aunt. When he is not busy helping clients, working at home, or helping his community, he enjoys snow skiing in the winter, 4 wheeling in the summer, and finding his ALOHA in Hawaii any chance he gets.
