Jim’s mission is a simple one: helping his clients pursue the lives they envision. “I just want my clients to be happy,” he says. “I’m completely honest and remain accessible to them night and day. You won’t find any smoke and mirrors here.”

Before joining Raymond James in 2001, Jim worked as an advisor with Prudential Financial and Baird. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. In addition, Jim holds a bachelor’s degree in international business from Davenport University (and spent a semester abroad at the University of Hanoi, Vietnam).

Now that he’s a branch manager, Jim spends his days applying his 20-plus years of industry experience and academic business knowledge to managing clients’ portfolios and delivering the attentive, deeply personalized service they deserve.

A resident of Michigan’s Southwest region for over 50 years, Jim makes his home with his wife, Michelle. Together, they have six children: Britiany, David, Kara, Matt, Katlyn and Abby. Away from work, Jim enjoys chopping wood (which he and his family use to stay warm on cold winter days) and working his smoker.
