As a member of the Rowland Ducharme Wealth Management Group, Alex Ducharme, AAMS™, is dedicated to building deep and lasting relationships with his clients. As an Accredited Asset Management Specialist™, Alex’s knowledge encompasses a wide range of financial subjects, including investment strategies, business planning, insurance planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and estate planning. Alex focuses on a holistic approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of your needs and goals in managing you and your family’s wealth. With much experience helping manage retirement accounts and corporate stock plans, Alex uses this knowledge to help craft a personalized retirement plan to help his clients seek their future goals.
Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance at Florida State University. Previously, he worked in executive compensation services in the Raymond James corporate headquarters where he helped manage over 70 company corporate equity compensation plans including stock options, RSUs and ESPP plans. In addition, he handled SEC 144 filings and 10b5-1 trading plans for corporate insiders. Before joining Raymond James in 2018, he worked at T. Rowe Price as a mutual funds specialist and brokerage trading representative, gaining experience trading within mutual fund and brokerage accounts as well as handling varying retirement and complex tax situations.
Alex holds Series 7, 66, 57, 6 and 63 securities licenses.
Active in community organizations, Alex is a member of the Brevard Seminole Club, Florida Sport Fishing Association, Rockledge Country Club, Health First Foundation Young Professionals Group, Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce, Melbourne Regional Chamber as well as his local church.
Alex was raised in Merritt Island, Florida, and today lives in Rockledge, Florida, with his wife Taylor. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Scooby. Alex loves playing golf and smoking food on his Traeger grill. He is a passionate fan of the Florida State Seminoles, the Miami Dolphins, and the Boston Red Sox.
