Steve is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. Dedicated and compassionate, Steve has spent his career helping his clients realize their financial goals, through individualized investment planning and asset allocation, as well as providing professional advice and personal service. Steve strives to be a trusted advisor to his clients, by understanding their perspective, and helping them achieve their vision of financial independence. Other specialties include retirement and estate planning.
Steve earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and his MBA from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. By voluntarily completing the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ rigorous certification process, Steve has taken an extra step to demonstrate his professionalism. As a CFP® professional, he has committed to meeting the board’s continuing education requirements and practicing with higher ethical standards.
Prior to joining Raymond James in 2010, Steve served as a Financial Advisor with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and Advest. He began his career as a Registered Associate with Prudential Securities.
Steve is a member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and serves on their Sponsorship Committee, is a member of the Bucyrus Chamber of Commerce, and he participates in the Professional Advisory group of The Catholic Foundation. Steve is also a member of Relā Columbus, a non-profit faith based leadership development organization, where he serves on multiple committees.
Originally from Bucyrus, Ohio, Steve now makes his home in Columbus with his two children, Griffin and Genevieve. Steve and his children are parishioners of St. Brendan’s Catholic Church in Hilliard. When he’s not in the office, Steve enjoys spending time with his kids, working out at the gym, and traveling.
