Laura Mullendore

Branch Associate

I was born and raised in Sikeston along with my older sister Cari. When I graduated from high school, knowing that I enjoy working with numbers and processes, I began my career in the financial industry, working at a local bank for 5 years. There, I learned the basis of all that I use today while working here at Raymond James.

After my 5 years in banking, I became a mother and decided to be a stay-at-home Mom for nearly 18 years. This was one of the best decisions for my two boys, Cody and Lincoln. During this time, I was able to focus on my boys as well as work on several children’s projects. I became the VBS Director at our local church for several years, where we grew attendance to over 300 children each year. Sharing the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with so many was truly a blessing for all the hard work the whole team put into it. I also volunteered as PTO President for my son’s elementary school, where we worked as a team to grow the PTO to over 100 volunteers, with us raising more than $50,000 for the school in just one year. I was known by all the students as “Lincoln’s Mom”, as they saw me in the hallways nearly every day. It would always put a huge smile on my face when the kids yelled out with enthusiasm, “That’s Lincoln’s Mom!”. The team truly came together and did great things for the school.

Now that my boys are grown, I have re-entered the workforce knowing that my wheelhouse is and should be working within the financial industry. My banking days long ago truly laid all of the groundwork to me becoming the newest Branch Associate at Raymond James. Here, I am able to use my detail-oriented skills to be the best I can be for the client.

My pastimes, outside of work, are filled with gardening, traveling, eating at unique restaurants, fishing for crappie and northern pike.
