Gregory Ordmandy, AAMSTM Financial Advisor

As an Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM, Greg has specialized knowledge of investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. A practiced Real Estate Investor for over a decade, Greg came to Raymond James to help others plan the future they deserve. He is passionate about hearing your unique background so we can customize a plan to your individual needs. Greg has the ability to accompany your financial plan through all stages of life, and is positioned to oversee multigenerational planning.

Graduating high school in Port Charlotte, FL in 2004, Greg immediately joined the service at the age of 17. Before his 21st birthday, he completed a tour in Iraq and became one of his battalions youngest Sergeants. Upon leaving the Army, he attended Florida Gulf Coast University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2013. From there, he expanded his real estate investing, leveraging his creative problem solving skills to find profitable deals. Greg still felt a deep desire to return to servicing his community in a tangible way, which led him to join the Sommerville Financial Group of Raymond James in pursuit of serving others once more.

Born on Long Island, NY in 1986, Greg moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 1998, and has remained there aside from his hiatus for military service. He is deeply tied to this community by four generations. His wife, Cassandra, works at Port Charlotte High School. He enjoys spending his spare time with their two children, Jonas and Forrest, whether that be movie night, thoughtful discussion, or outdoor adventures. He continues to be passionate about veterans, real estate, philosophy, and helping others succeed. He also engages the community’s charitable endeavors regularly, serving on an Advisory Board for the Military Heritage Museum and hosting keynote speaking engagements for Charitable Gifting Strategies.
