Dave Edwards' personal mission as a registered representative and member of the SmartVestor program (teaching the Dave Ramsey principles) is to guide and assist clients in meeting their financial and retirement goals. With more than 22 total years of experience in 401(k) plan design, investment portfolio construction and retirement planning, Dave provides guidance to his clients so they can take control of their wealth during their financial journey. His relationship management background has taught Dave the importance of building a strong relationship with his clients first. Dave takes great pride in listening and thoroughly understanding his client's needs prior to recommending any personalized suggestions or advice.

As an independent advisor with Raymond James, Dave has the advantage of leveraging the technology and resources of a premier investment firm for his client's benefit. Dave is focused on his client's best interests and always ensures that recommendations are based on client goals because financial advice is about more than just having a plan…it's about helping design the right plan for you.

Dave is originally from Wilmington, NC and has lived in the Charlotte area for over 25 years. He currently lives on Lake Norman with his wife (Carrie) and two young boys (Chase and Cameron). In his spare time he enjoys spending time on the lake with his family, visiting the beach and playing golf (he was married on the 18th hole at Harbour Town Golf Links on Hilton Head Island). Dave also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and supports his son's Boy Scout troop and baseball teams. He graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a double major in marketing and business management.
