For MaryAn, the empowerment of individuals has been a major benchmark in the course of her career. Her professional background includes 15 years of providing counseling and educational services as a psychotherapist in the NH and Maine seacoast area. With a desire to expand her capacity as a counselor, she entered the financial industry as a researcher for a New England investment company. Here she spent almost 5 years developing a strong knowledge base of various investment vehicles and honed her abilities in company research.

In the spring of 2016, MaryAn joined York Investment Partners as the office’s Client Services and Office Manager and soon realized her acumen as an Investment Advisor Representative. She helps clients recognize and manage their attitudes and behaviors regarding money so that they are more successful in reaching their financial goals. Her ability to perceive the complexities of human nature, investment, and their synergy, brings an added depth of expertise to consulting.

MaryAn became Vice President of York Investment Partners in 2017. She holds Series 7 and 66 securities registrations as a registered representative, Investment Advisor Representative and Financial Advisor of RJFS and RJFSA. She also holds an Annuity and Life Insurance license in Maine.

Originally from New Hampshire, MaryAn earned an advanced degree from Harvard University and is also a graduate of the University of New Hampshire. She currently resides in Portsmouth, NH with her daughter Sophia where they enjoy the local music and art scene, hiking, biking, surfing and simply being in nature.
