Claudia King is an independent thinker and problem-solver that also thrives in a team environment. She has a solid understanding that each client is an individual and that every situation is unique when it comes to organizing the firm’s resources around their particular vision.

 In keeping with her drive for continuing education she has completed the Certificate Program in Financial Planning at SMU and is now authorized by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards to use the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and CFP (with flame design) in accordance with CFP Board certification and renewal requirements. Claudia holds her Series 7 and Series 66 licenses along with Texas insurance licenses for life, health and long term care coverage for groups and individuals. She has Bachelor of Science Degrees from the University of Cincinnati and from the University of Texas.

Several years ago Claudia made a personal career change from the medical field to financial planning as she strongly believed that she could better enhance the lives of people by helping them with their financial goals. The change has been successful for her as is evidenced by her quick climb in the financial planning field.

Claudia is married with three children. She has volunteered with the Women’s Guild of United Cerebral Palsy Association and the Jesuit Auction. Claudia is also an accomplished church soloist and an active member at her church serving on multiple boards over the years and with a special fondness for her role as a past executive director of the St. Rita Fine Arts program.


Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
