Jonathan Booth, AAMS® Financial Advisor Investment Consultant

After a successful career in law enforcement, Jonathan joined the family business and is now dedicated to helping clients bring order to their financial lives. He wants clients to realize their individual definitions of financial well-being and achieve the financial independence that will enable them to enjoy life even more.

As an Accredited Asset Management Specialist SM, Jonathan has specialized experience in investments, insurance, tax, retirement, and estate planning issues. He adheres to standards of professional conduct and is committed to continuing industry education.

Before joining our team in 2015, Jonathan had an 11-year career in law enforcement. He served in numerous capacities ranging from Patrol to Detective and even St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office S.W.A.T. Team

Jonathan was also an instructor for the Basic Police Academy where he trained new officers on the techniques of standardized field sobriety testing and DWI detection, patrol techniques, and investigations.

During his law enforcement career, Jonathan received several awards, including The John I. Kahl Award of Excellence; Mothers Against Drunk Driving Top Cop Award (annually from 2005 to 2009), Marine Corps League Officer of the Year, and Office of the Secretary of Defense Patriotic Employer Award. He earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northwestern State University.

He is a member of the Monroe Chamber of Commerce and West Monroe Chamber of Commerce, president and past vice president of the Kiwanis Club of Monroe, a board member of the Monroe Youth Girls Softball League and a member of First United Methodist Church of Monroe.

Jonathan grew up in Monroe, where he lives today with his wife, Shelly, and children, Ava, Rhett and Ryder. In his free time, Jonathon enjoys coaching youth sports, volunteering with Kiwanis and spending quality time with his family.
