Brad's approach to financial services is consistent with his approach while in corporate positions; he manages by objectives. He values the time with his clients to fully comprehend their needs and financial goals. Then, he constructs a customized plan and investment strategy distinctly suited to meet the outlined objectives. Brad also recognizes that his clients' goals and capabilities may change with time. Therefore, he checks in with his clients and listens intently to ensure their plans are adjusted accordingly and consistent with the current economic climate.

Brad's devotion to his career and his clients is evident from his enthusiasm for educating others about the investment process, including how different factors impact investments and strategy. He feels strongly that clients will make fewer mistakes and be more likely to meet their goals when fully engaged in the planning process. Brad also believes it's essential to continually strive to be worthy of the enormous trust his clients have placed in him. And after almost 35 years in the investment business, he still finds the market, the economy, asset allocation and planning immensely fascinating and challenging.

Before joining our team, Brad held positions in various roles and organizations. He began his career with Exxon Corporation and gained comprehensive experience in multiple areas, from serving as a District Financial Analyst, Operations Support Analyst, Financial and Reporting Analyst, District Accounting Services Supervisor, and Supply Analyst. Driven by his passion for helping friends with their investments, Brad left the corporate world in 1987 to join Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. He has worked for Prudential, Wachovia, and UBS and was most recently Vice President, Investment Officer for 11 years with Wells Fargo Advisors. Brad graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and an MBA in Finance.

Personal biography

My wife, Kathie, and I are the proud parents of our two children, Max and Maya. Max is in college, and Maya is quickly growing up as she makes her way through high school. When our kids were a bit younger, I had a blast coaching baseball, basketball, and softball with other dads.

I have always enjoyed keeping active and was a competitive runner before a hip replacement slowed me down. Now you can find me running vicariously through Max, who is already considerably better than I ever was in my prime! However, I still participate in a variety of activities such as disc golf, bike rides, and walks and hikes with Kathie. I also love getting my hands dirty in the garden, especially our shade garden. I enjoy collecting unique Japanese Maples and Dogwood trees and typically grow around 1,500 (legal) annual and perennial plants from seeds under grow lights in my basement each Spring.

When I'm not spending time outdoors, I'm an active, long-term member of Sudbury United Methodist Church, where I serve on the Missions and Youth Ministries Commissions. I also serve on the United Methodist Foundation of New England board.
