Jim has 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. He holds Series 7, 63, 3, series 8, as well as the Georgia Life Insurance license. Prior to joining Raymond James in 2018, Jim was a part of a select group of individuals who was qualified and recognized as a Premier Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. Jim has a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of Georgia (UGA). While attending UGA, Jim was a letterman on the football team as a punter from 1980-82, a team that won 3 Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championships and 1 National Championship (Sugar Bowl) with the team finishing with a perfect record. He was awarded Special Teams Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1982, the Wallace Butts Scholarship Athlete Award in 1981, All-SEC Academic in 1982, and received the Scholar Athlete Award from the Northeast chapter of the "National Collegiate Football Foundation Hall of Fame" in 1987. Jim is a former member of the North Fulton Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) Board, the Rotary Club Board of Directors, the Georgia Student Education Fund (GSEF) Board of Trustees, and the Roswell United Methodist Church Board of Stewards. Jim's interests include but are not limited to golfing, fishing of all types, watching sports, traveling to the lake, and spending time with family. Jim is married to his wife, Sherry, he has 3 children, and 2 grandchildren. He and his wife, along with his children and grandchildren, all reside in Roswell, Georgia.
