After graduating from the College of Charleston with a bachelor's degree in political science in 2010, Josh returned to his hometown and joined his father at the Cooper Financial Group of Raymond James.
Josh helps each client identify their unique goals, concerns and situation, and then creates a financial plan for pursuing their long-term objectives. He enjoys being able to interact with clients on a daily basis and help his father grow the business he has worked so tirelessly to create.
Actively involved in his community, Josh serves on the board of trustees of Fredericksburg Academy. He is a volunteer with the "Roastin' on the Rivah" fundraiser to benefit the Moss Free Clinic, and a volunteer with The Community Foundation of the Rappahannock River Region, where he helps teach high school students in the philanthropy program about the importance of thinking critically and giving back. Josh is also a member of the College of Charleston Cougar Club and 1770 Society.
Josh is a lifelong resident of the Fredericksburg area and a graduate of Fredericksburg Academy. In his free time, he enjoys reading, cooking, college basketball, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his friends and family. He is also an avid golf and tennis player.
