Mike
Michael J. Martin,
CEPA®
Private Wealth Advisor
Senior Vice President, Managing Director
Early into his career in corporate finance, Mike realized he had no passion for it. It was too abstract, too disconnected. Instead, he wanted a career that make a difference in real people’s lives. He wanted a career that would make a difference in people like his grandparents’ lives.
“My grandparents were the most loving and thoughtful people alive,” he said. “They would do anything for anyone, though they lived on a very modest income. I fondly remember my grandmother saying constantly that if she won the lottery, she would do this or that. I wanted to help people in a way so that they would not have to win the lottery to see their dreams come true.”
That has remained his guiding principle, that with clear goals, a plan and attention, everyday people can achieve financial confidence. Commitment? Yes. Sacrifice? Sometimes. But he believes it has enabled many of his clients and their families to achieve more than they thought was possible.
