Thad Erwin, a Nacogdoches native, acquired a Bachelor of Finance degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2002.  After working at a prominent local bank for two years as an analyst and a lender, Thad was determined to change career paths.  In 2005 he became a partner with Steve Wright as a financial advisor.  Thad has excelled and dedicated himself to his work, with over fifteen years of experience in the securities industry.  He strongly believes “If the market is open, then we are open.”  He firmly concludes that his clients warrant personalized service and proves this with an open-door policy.  With deep roots established in the community, Thad greatly values provincial business and simultaneously recognizes the confidence and trust that local clients place in his hands for their financial future.

Thad married his wife Shelly, from Dallas, Texas, in 2006.  They are the proud parents of two precious children, Jake and Heidi.  They enjoy traveling the world together and spending time at the family farm.
