Amanda is Partner, Financial Advisor and Branch Manager of Foundations Wealth Partners | Raymond James.
Discipline and self-sufficiency are values that were instilled in Amanda at a young age, and present at each stage of life. This includes Amanda’s relationship with finances. From her first job picking strawberries for $0.50/pound, to waiting on tables, to earning money on 4-H projects, Amanda’s mother would insist that 1/3rd of money made goes to savings, 1/3rd will be gifted to church, and the rest was to be managed as seen fit. Saving for a ‘rainy day’ was a frequent conversation at the kitchen table during Amanda’s childhood. While this shaped Amanda’s logic around finances, it was not until young adulthood that the emotional side of finances would become prevalent. Often you will hear Amanda reiterate that ‘money is one of the most emotional topics we as humans deal with’. Amanda firmly believes that all segments of wealth management are best approached when logic and emotion work together in financial decision making.
