Since Sonya partnered with her father, Martin, in 1987, she has shown the same dedication and commitment to clients that he does. Over the years, Sonya has worked relentlessly to help families plan and achieve their financial goals and, as a result, has built relationships that span decades. She holds Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 63 registrations.

Sonya earned an Associate of Arts degree from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida International University. She is very active in the community, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of Mt. Sinai Medical Center and serves on the board of the Mt. Sinai Medical Center Foundation. Sonya and her family are also active members of Temple Beth Sholom.

A native Floridian, Sonya lives in Miami Beach, Florida, with her husband, Ralph Choeff, and their son.
