Brent Gough is the Founder and President of Gough Wealth Management. For nearly 30 years, he and his team have been dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals through thoughtful planning, disciplined strategy, and long term relationships built on trust.
Since entering the financial services industry in 1998, Brent has served the complex financial needs of individuals, families, and business owners. His approach centers on truly understanding each client’s goals, values, and tolerance for risk to craft customized, goals based financial strategies.

He works closely with his clients to create personalized financial plans designed to pursue long term goals while addressing current needs. Supported by the extensive resources of Raymond James, including specialists in financial planning, estate and tax strategies, wealth accumulation, retirement income planning, and education funding, Brent delivers a robust, disciplined approach to managing and preserving wealth.

Prior to founding Gough Wealth Management, Brent spent 23 years with Edward Jones Investments, where he became a 10 time Financial Advisor Leaders Conference qualifier—an honor reserved for top performers—and served as a Performance Leader for more than five years. Since founding Gough Wealth Management, he has earned recognition as a two-time Executive Council, and two-time Executive Leaders Council Qualifier.
Brent is deeply committed to serving his community. He currently serves as President of the Weatherford College Foundation and serves on the Certified Financial Planning Advisory Board at Tarleton State University. He is an active member of the Aledo Lions Club and the East Parker County Chamber of Commerce. Brent and his wife, Meredith, have been long time members of Greenwood Baptist Church in Weatherford.
Originally from Graham, Texas, Brent graduated from Tarleton State University with a bachelor’s degree in business. He joined Raymond James in 2021 and later established Gough Wealth Management to expand the firm’s capabilities and create a multi generational advisory practice.
Outside the office, Brent enjoys traveling and spending time with Meredith, his wife of 20 years, along with their 4 children and 4 grandchildren. He is an avid Bow Hunter. Faith, family, and service remain at the center of everything he does.
