Eric Gustafson,

CFP® Financial Advisor

Eric Gustafson is a financial advisor with Raymond James in Omaha, Nebraska, and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. He has partnered with his first cousin, Steven Gustafson, who has been an advisor since 1994. Eric believes the cornerstone of a successful client/advisor relationship is the mutual trust and respect that develops over time, and he is deeply committed to helping his clients pursue their long-term financial goals. Eric does this through a comprehensive approach to wealth management, retirement and estate planning, using IRAs, 401(k)s, company retirement plans, trust accounts and more. He works with a variety of clients, from those who have achieved their goal of retirement, to business owners, widows, families and young professionals. He tailors each investment portfolio and client experience to the individual needs of that client because he does not believe that one size fits all. He works diligently to assist his clients with a high level of service and the intention of being their trusted wealth advisor for life.

Eric has chosen to move to Raymond James, one of the largest independent financial services firms in the nation, a company he deeply respects for their ethics, impressive technology and client first approach. Prior to coming to Raymond James, Eric began his career in financial services in 2007, working at American Funds for eight years before joining Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor in 2015. He has earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from California State University of San Marcos. Eric continued to further his professional education, earning the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification by submitting to the rigorous certification process that includes intensive education, examination, experience and ethical requirements.

Originally from Southern California, in 2015 he moved to Omaha, Nebraska, where he is active in the community as a volunteer for organizations such as United Way and his local church. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Eric and his wife, Jessica, have 3 children, Lily, Grant and Chloe. When not working he enjoys family time, traveling, Nebraska football, running, craft beer/wine tastings and competing in triathlons.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, Certified Financial Planner,  CFP Logo Flame Design and  CFP Logo Plaque Design in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
