Paige is an integral part of the true team approach at Introspect Wealth Advisors. “The three of us are each wealth management advisors and have experience serving our own clients. We came together because we individually bring a specialty to the partnership that allows the client to receive a genuine holistic approach to wealth management,” said Paige
“With a trust background, I want to ensure our clients receive a fully integrated, comprehensive life plan, incorporating intrinsic facets of their planning needs – budgets, estate and trust planning, life insurance, long term care strategies, incapacity issues, planning to retirement conversations, divorce and legacy planning.
This is an ever-changing discussion that we continuously have with our clients and their family members as life evolves,” said Paige. “Without these discussions, we are not able to prudently invest the assets per the goals and objectives they have defined to us.”
Paige has more than 33 years of experience in the financial services industry. “My career is off the beaten (career) path and I love my story,” Paige said. “In 1987, I worked for the original Wachovia Bank’s trust department in Winston-Salem as a receptionist when I was barely 18. My colleagues saw something in me that I did not and asked if I would consider attending college in order to continue a career in the trust department as a legal document reviewer.” Two years later, Paige graduated from the American Institute for Paralegal Studies, a technical school in Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1994, she had the opportunity to join Merrill Lynch Trust Company (MLTC) and was on the original team that subsequently grew the Merrill Lynch Trust Company of North Carolina into a nationally chartered trust company. She worked with hundreds of financial advisors, clients and attorneys wanting to incorporate MLTC as a fiduciary in their estate planning documents.
In 2011, Paige left MLTC and joined Vic at Merrill Lynch. She also attended Merrill Lynch’s Practice Management Development (PMD) program, a rigorous training program for financial advisor development. During the program, she received the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant®, Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor® and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor.
“I have worked with advisors for most of my career and since becoming one, I have not looked back! My clients have become my friends and I find joy in that,” Paige said.
Dedicated to giving back throughout her career, Paige has served on the Forsyth County Chapter of the American Cancer Society Board of Directors, and the ACS Relay for Life Planning Committee for nine years. She is a past board member of The Shepherd Center, (Matthews, NC, Chapter) and is currently a volunteer at Elevation Church.
Paige was born and raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and today lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her husband, Mark. Their son, Jacob, is a freshman at Appalachian State University. Paige enjoys bowling, reading, listening to live bands and playing retro video games.
