Jenny is proud to be a native Nevadan. She graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business in 2010. The highlight of her college years was the six months she spent studying abroad in Bilbao, Spain. Jenny also managed both the Starbucks and Keva Juice on-campus stores as a student. Both experiences were tremendously helpful in honing her leadership and communication skills.

Jenny started her financial services career at Edward Jones in 2007, where she worked for seven years as a branch office administrator. She joined the Nevada Family Wealth team in 2015. Jenny’s dedication to her clients has motivated her in continuing her education. She earned her Certified Financial Planner^™ designation in 2017.

Jenny is passionate about planning. Growing up, she saw firsthand the awesome impact that following a financial plan can have. Her parents worked with their financial advisor to develop and implement a plan to retire at 50 years old. Jenny is still impressed that they were able to accomplish such an audacious goal. She is very grateful that her parents instilled in her the values of diligence and frugality from an early age. Jenny is eager to pass on the lessons learned to her clients so they too can put themselves in a position to accomplish all of their own financial goals.

One of Jenny’s proudest accomplishments was earning the Girl Scout Gold Award. Her experience as a Girl Scout led her into becoming a steadfast believer in giving back to her community. She currently serves as the NB Ewes committee secretary for Nevada Bighorns Unlimited along with being an active member with Junior League of Reno.

One of Jenny’s greatest joys is to watch the sunrise after hiking to the top of a mountain with her two dogs Ali and Jake. A lover of the outdoors, she also enjoys backpacking, skiing, hunting and fishing with her husband, McKinnon and their sons Lane and Logan.
