Joe Gallivan started his career as a financial advisor when he joined his father, Jimmy Gallivan, at J.C. Bradford & Co. in 1992. He later became at Senior Vice President, Investments at Alexander Key Investment in 2002 and joined Raymond James & Associates in 2006.
Joe is dedicated to creating individual and personalized financial plans designed to meet his clients’ needs and goals. He believes the most successful investment strategies look at the big picture and he strives to provide a comprehensive, strategy-focused approach with a commitment to the client’s best interests.
Active in his community, Joe serves on the board of MOVE Inclusive Dance, a local non-profit dedicated to providing dance classes for individuals of all ability levels, and the Don Gibson American Music Foundation where he has been a member since 2016. He served as president of the board at Saddle Up! in 2000. Joe is a member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church.
After moving to Nashville from Greenville, SC in 1970, Joe attended Peabody Demonstration School (now, University School of Nashville) and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Belmont University.
In his free time, Joe enjoys working in the garden, spending time at the lake and watching Tennessee Football. He lives in Forest Hills with his wife Traci, close to their two children, Jessie and Joseph.
